The Mission of the Salamanca IDA is to promote growth in the private sector with employment and investment in the area surrounding and including the City of Salamanca and support the economic and community development of the region.
Eligible projects include: commercial, education/cultural, manufacturing, recreation, research and development, and retail. The Salamanca Area Development Program can assist with: seeking and administering State and Federal funds; administering a revolving loan fund; property acquisition and management; tax abatement and exemptions; sales of bonds and notes; and project management. Due to the small size of the entire Board, all Board members serve on the Audit, Finance, and Governance Committees. Committee meetings are held as a part of the regular Board meetings.
